【KIMONONO Swatchbook Libraryとは】
▶︎自然からインスパイアされた色やその時代その時代の流行や時勢を移した日本の着物。着物を解いた生地を御朱印帳に仕立て、色の名前を付けながら色のスウォッチブックとしてアーカイブしています。

※さまざまな日本の伝統色の辞典や見本帖を参考にしています。それぞれ微妙に色味が異なること、またモニタによっても少しずつ違ってくることがあります。

※まだまだ色の勉強中で知らない色もあります。そのため「あからさまに違うのでは？」という色や「こっちの方が近いんじゃない？」という色がありましたらご指摘ください。一緒にスウォッチブックを作っていただけたら嬉しいです！

[What is "Kimonono Swatchbook Library”?]
It archives Japanese kimono colors inspired by nature or reflecting trends and sentiments of each era, by creating swatchbooks using fabric from untied kimono, while giving them color names. The colors are primarily compared with those referred to as "Japanese traditional colors". We refer to various Japanese traditional color dictionaries and sample books as a reference, but there may be slight variations in color depending on the monitor, and subtle differences in color shade between each resource.

- As we are still learning about colors, there may be colors that we are not familiar with. If you notice any colors that seem to be obviously different or closer to a different shade, please let us know. We would be delighted to make the swatchbooks together.
